Laboratory Management
As milk is collected from farms, samples may be taken from the milk collected off farm for the purposes of component and/or quality testing. Madcap contains extensive functionality that allows scheduling of component and/or quality testing according to both company and state requirements, as well as the capacity of the equipment available. Results of any required tests are transferred to Madcap either by automatic connections to milk analyzers, import, or manual entry.
Following are some key functions of the module:
- Manual or automated testing for any defined test type
- Variance analysis to ensure sample consistency
- Test scheduling and follow-up mechanisms in response to grade/adverse results
- Configurable integration with most known analyzer manufacturers
- Extensive enquiry, reporting and report writer options
- Entry of non-supplier sample results and batch management
This shows the data for a supplier for a specified date range. Notice the non-daily button, this would show all the tests that are performed on this supplier on a non-daily basis like an antibiotic test for example.
